I live in New England and so it’s cold outside all winter. I just pulled the bucket out of the shed and it’s still outside where today it is in the 60s. Step 6 says ‘in your house’. Can I start watering it outside now? I’m not sure if it’s going to work, since I left it outside all winter, albeit in a shed.

Another question, assuming these grow. Can I cut these same roots and start again for next year, or do I need to plant new endive seeds in my garden this spring?
