What were your biggest successes this season?

Our biggest successes, this season encompasses, a marked improvement in the life styles of beneficiaries, who before the advent of our initiatives were tottering on the brink of poverty due to the unsustainable methods of survived they were into.

Therefore in a nutshell, we can boast that we played a crucial part in alleviating poverty in some communities, which was our ultimate goal anyway. They now lead healthy lifestyles, with some income to spend at their disposal.

What challenges did or does your project face?

The challenges, we are encountering are mainly financial. For instance, we had intended to sink a borehole but we only managed to access 450 dollars, which fell short of the required amount.

How are you working to overcome them?

We have since dug a well as a water source, with the help of the locals, who volunteered their time and manpower.

What did you or your project learn this season that might be useful to others as well?

The biggest lesson, was limited resources there may be at one’s disposal, as long as there be unity of a people with a common vision, a goal or goals can be achieved.
