What were your biggest successes this season?

During the COVID 19 containment period, we distributed to 25 vulnerable women and girls responsible for households the products of our gardens for marketing, this helped the beneficiaries for the survival of their families, the purchase of masks and soap for fight against COVID 19 thanks to the benefit of the proceeds of the community garden

What challenges did or does your project face?

Our project is faced with fungal diseases, difficulties in obtaining phito-sanitary products, difficulty in purchasing seeds, tillage tools and chemical fertilizer.

How are you working to overcome them?

We make contributions to members of the Relief Committee for Women and Children in Distress COSEFED, as it becomes a baggage with our members however, we contact SEED MONEY to assist us a sum of 500 USD to facilitate us to overcome these challenges

What did you or your project learn this season that might be useful to others as well?

What can be useful to others is that in garden planning one should always expect an unexpected / unforeseen situation and know how to overcome this situation, this is the case of COVID 19 for this year 2020, it is our experience that we want to share.
