What were your biggest successes this season?

Planting cabbage and eggplant which will help the beneficiaries in the fight against malnutrition and sources of income by selling part of the harvest. Increase in social cohesion

What challenges did or does your project face?

Marginalization of pigmes saying they were born to beg

How are you working to overcome them?

rental of fields for pygmies. Inclusion of other ethnic groups in the project. Part of the harvest income is saved to build up capital that will be used to purchase land for the pygmas to stabilize them

What did you or your project learn this season that might be useful to others as well?

Community gardens help pygmies improve their food security by growing vegetables and enable pygmies to adapt to climate change
