What were your biggest successes this season?

Training local farmers on harvesting mature crops for safe storage.
Local farmers asking and visiting the garden for farming advisory services.
Harvesting onions at Large scale and tomatoes.
Established learning nursery bed for vegetables.

What challenges did or does your project face?

Pests and diseases.
Weather changes i.e little rain pouring.
Lack of enough supply stores of clean seeds.

How are you working to overcome them?

Early planting of clean seeds.
Preventing and controlling pests and diseases by use of organic and inorganic methods.
Planting trees that are friends of nature.

What did you or your project learn this season that might be useful to others as well?

Planting early to harvest early.
Selection of clean seeds to plant.
Controlling of pests and diseases by biological and cultural methods
