our biggest successes got during this season were, the harvests were very successful as we grew the onions and cabbages nicely and and the rain was enough and sometimes if there was no rain, we were trying to even water the garden.
What challenges did or does your project face?
some challenges we faced in our project were, at times, it happened when there was no rain for a while, we were carrying water from afar so as to water the garden and we had no sufficient and appropriate fertilizer as a result, we even tended to use the natural fertilizer and another challenge which we faced, was the climate change.
.
How are you working to overcome them?
to overcome those challenges: firstly, we mobilized each other to water the garden in spite of such a long distance to find water, secondly, we took the decision of bringing the natural fertilizer from dumpings within the camp and also thirdly, for any climate change, we arranged to shelter our garden due to the excess of the sunshine and rainfall.
What did you or your project learn this season that might be useful to others as well?
According to the experience we went through, as of now, we can be able to know the kinds of seeds which are suitable for gardening and how to mobilize one another to maintain a garden in order to impact positively in our socio-economic lives.
therefore, we need a support of 825 US dollars from your organization to ameliorate the farming
