We have inspired students and the gardens look great! We are building community partners, expanding soft skills training and developing post-release support.
What challenges did or does your project face?
Cold rainy spring that slowed us down and limited what we could grow in the first few months.
How are you working to overcome them?
We are moving ahead with planting warm-weather crops and making sure our students understand that this is life! Nothing goes exactly as expected.
What did you or your project learn this season that might be useful to others as well?
Be flexible!
