What were your biggest successes this season?

Food security
Farmers have been able to diversify their vegetable crops thus having varieties to feed on and provide essential nutrients.
Income generation
Farmers have been able to generate income through the sale of their surplus.

What challenges did or does your project face?

Extreme drought form January to mid March.
Excessive rainfall from mid March to mid June.
Limited resources.
Pressure on time for the farmers because of the weathers

How are you working to overcome them?

Training on soil fertility management in order to retain and drain soil water properly .
Trained farmers on utilization of locally available materials and looking for more support in order to empower farmers more.
Training and being keen on time management.

What did you or your project learn this season that might be useful to others as well?

When farmers are imparted with knowledge and skills on the best farming practices they become conscious of their farming systems and are keen to be connected and contribute to their households' nutritional, social and economic needs.
