With the able assistance of Toast and SeedMoney,we nurtured a variety of tree species in our nurseries beds out of which we managed to transplant quite a few of these at our new 5 hectares Permaculture Resource Centre
What challenges did or does your project face?
At the moment our biggest challenge remains lack of (adequate)funding to fully complete this project
How are you working to overcome them?
This we are doing by participating in Seed Money's crowd funding program in order to raise funds and by initiating some income generating projects, like market gardening, fish farming and mushroom farming in the interim
What did you or your project learn this season that might be useful to others as well?
Certainly,we have learnt a great deal, and drew invaluable lessons such as these (a)Applying available resources at one's disposal as an organization is key towards achieving one's objectives as we are currently doing and (b)Doing so,helps in a big way in attracting funding from 1% for the planet business partners like Toast and platforms as Seed Money's crowd funding program,
