We’re excited to announce the 505 winners of SeedMoney grants for 2022. SeedMoney’s annual grants program, the SeedMoney Challenge, opens its doors to a wide array of nonprofit food, farm, and garden projects worldwide. From community gardens to food bank gardens, youth gardens, library gardens, shelter gardens, and so many more—our mission is to empower these projects to nourish their communities in a healthy way for them and the planet.

2022 marked the 8th annual offering of this program, and it’s been our most successful year to date. The 585 garden projects participating raised a jaw-dropping total of $467,663 through crowdfunding and challenge grants.

This year, we awarded 352 challenge grants and 389 planning grants, which include free access to SeedMoney’s online garden planning software (worth $50), 24/7 access to live technical support, and a library of how-to videos and blog posts.

Our amazing grantees represent a diverse range of projects from 47 US states and 40 countries. We’re truly humbled to participate in this global movement for positive change in our food systems and communities.
