We’re delighted to announce the 595 winners of SeedMoney’s latest round of grants . SeedMoney’s annual grants program, the SeedMoney Challenge, is open to nonprofit food, farm, and garden projects worldwide. From community gardens to food bank gardens, youth gardens, library gardens, shelter gardens, and so many more—our mission is to empower these projects to nourish their communities in a way that is healthy for them and the planet.

This year marked the 10th annual offering of this program and our most successful in terms of the total number of grantees (595), and the amount of crowdfunds and grants awarded. A total of $472,178 in crowdfunds and grants were awarded to 333 challenge grantees.

This year, we also awarded 378 planning grants, which include free access to SeedMoney’s online garden planning software (worth $50), 24/7 access to live technical support, and a library of how-to videos and blog posts. Of the planning grants awarded, 116 went to projects that didn’t raise any funds through donations or grants, while 262 challenge grantees received both financial support and planning grants.

Our amazing grantees represent a diverse range of projects from 43 US states and 37 countries. We’re truly humbled to participate in this global movement for positive change in our food systems and communities.
